Ingredients

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together in a bowl.
  3. Add vanilla extract and mix well.
  4. Sift in flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Add desiccated coconut and chopped walnuts, and mix until combined.
  6. Shape the mixture into small balls and place them on a baking tray.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with a fork.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until set.
  9. Let cool on the tray for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
