- 24 ounces marinara sauce
- 15 ounces ricotta cheese
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Boil the ziti in water.
- Drain the pasta.
- Whisk the egg in a bowl.
- Mix the egg with ricotta cheese and half the mozzarella.
- Add the parmesan, oregano, salt, and pepper to the cheese.
- Mix the pasta with the marinara sauce.
- Place half the pasta in a baking dish.
- Spread the cheese mixture over the pasta.
- Add the rest of the pasta.
- Top with mozzarella.
- Bake for 30 minutes until the cheese melts.

- Use milk ricotta for flavor.
