Ingredients

- 2 ripe plantains
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Peel the plantains and slice them diagonally into thick pieces.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Fry the plantain slices for about 3-4 minutes until golden brown.
- Remove them from the oil and drain on paper towels.
- Using a flat surface, flatten each fried plantain slice.
- Return the flattened plantains to the hot oil and fry again for 2-3 minutes until crispy.
- Remove and drain excess oil on paper towels.
- Sprinkle with salt and serve hot.
Notes
- Choose ripe plantains for sweetness.
- Adjust frying time for desired crispiness.
