Description
A delicious fusion dish combining traditional birria beef with ramen noodles.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup water
- 1 pound beef chuck, cut into chunks
- 2 tablespoons birria spice mix
- 2 packs ramen noodles
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 lime, juiced
- Cilantro for garnish
- Sliced radishes for garnish
Instructions
- In a pot, combine beef broth, water, beef, birria spice mix, onion, and garlic.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until beef is tender, about 1.5 hours.
- Remove beef and shred with forks.
- Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.
- Return shredded beef to the pot and stir in lime juice.
- Serve ramen in bowls, topped with birria beef, cilantro, and radishes.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less birria spice.
- Use leftover beef for tacos or burritos.
