Description

A delicious fusion dish combining traditional birria beef with ramen noodles.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 pound beef chuck, cut into chunks
  • 2 tablespoons birria spice mix
  • 2 packs ramen noodles
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 lime, juiced
  • Cilantro for garnish
  • Sliced radishes for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine beef broth, water, beef, birria spice mix, onion, and garlic.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until beef is tender, about 1.5 hours.
  3. Remove beef and shred with forks.
  4. Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions.
  5. Return shredded beef to the pot and stir in lime juice.
  6. Serve ramen in bowls, topped with birria beef, cilantro, and radishes.

Notes

  • Adjust spice level by adding more or less birria spice.
  • Use leftover beef for tacos or burritos.
