Description
A Bombay Sandwich is a popular street food made with spiced potatoes, fresh cucumbers, and tangy chutney, layered between slices of bread.
Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 1 medium potato, boiled and mashed
- 1/2 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons green chutney
- 1 tablespoon butter
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- On the unbuttered side, spread green chutney.
- Add the mashed potato on one slice and season with salt.
- Layer cucumber slices on top of the potato.
- Cover with the other slice of bread, chutney side down.
- Heat a pan and toast the sandwich on both sides until golden brown.
- Slice and serve hot.
Notes
- Use whole grain or white bread as per preference.
- Add tomato slices for extra flavor.
- Adjust chutney quantity based on taste.
