Description

Chicken Kiev with Garlic Parsley Butter is a delicious dish featuring tender chicken breasts stuffed with a flavorful garlic and parsley butter.


Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • 100g unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the softened butter, garlic, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
  3. Take each chicken breast and carefully cut a pocket in the thickest part.
  4. Stuff each pocket with the garlic parsley butter.
  5. Seal the openings with toothpicks or kitchen twine.
  6. Coat each chicken breast in flour, then dip in beaten eggs, and finally coat in breadcrumbs.
  7. Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
  8. Fry each chicken breast until golden brown on both sides.
  9. Transfer the chicken to a baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes until fully cooked.
  10. Remove the toothpicks or twine before serving.

  • Serve with mashed potatoes or a fresh salad.
  • Make sure the butter is very cold for easier stuffing.
