Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • 1/2 cup cold butter, cubed
  • 3/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add cold butter and mix until crumbly.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips.
  5. In another bowl, whisk milk and egg.
  6. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and mix gently.

  8. Cut into wedges and place on a baking sheet.
  9. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
