Description
Chocolate eclairs are delicious pastries filled with cream and topped with chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a saucepan, combine water and butter. Bring to a boil.
- Stir in flour and salt until the mixture forms a ball.
- Remove from heat and let cool slightly.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pipe the mixture onto baking sheets in 4-inch logs.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool completely.
- Whip the cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form.
- Fill each eclair with whipped cream.
- Melt the chocolate chips and drizzle over the filled eclairs.
Notes
- Ensure eclairs are completely cool before filling.
- You can add coffee to the whipped cream for extra flavor.
