- 1 1/2 cups chocolate cookie crumbs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup dark chocolate, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon orange zest
- 1/4 cup freshly squeezed orange juice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine chocolate cookie crumbs and melted butter in a bowl.
- Press the mixture into a tart pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes, then let it cool.
- Melt dark chocolate with heavy cream in a saucepan over low heat.
- In a bowl, whisk eggs, sugar, vanilla, orange zest, and orange juice.
- Mix the chocolate mixture into the egg mixture until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust.
- Bake for 25 minutes or until set.
- Cool completely before serving.
