Description
Delicious chocolate pistachio baklava rolls with a rich filling.
Ingredients

- 1 package of phyllo dough
- 1 cup of melted butter
- 2 cups of finely chopped pistachios
- 1 cup of chocolate chips
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 cup of water
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix chopped pistachios, chocolate chips, cinnamon, and half the sugar.
- Lay one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush with melted butter.
- Layer another sheet on top and brush again with butter.
- Spread a portion of the pistachio mixture along one edge of the dough.
- Roll the phyllo dough tightly to form a log.
- Place the roll on a baking sheet and repeat with remaining ingredients.
- Brush the tops of the rolls with remaining melted butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
- In a saucepan, combine water, remaining sugar, and vanilla; bring to a boil and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Pour the syrup over the hot baklava rolls as soon as they come out of the oven.
Notes
- Store leftovers in an airtight container.
- Can be served warm or at room temperature.
- Adjust sugar based on your sweetness preference.
