Description

A delicious dessert combining layers of chocolate and pistachio in a crispy kataifi base.


Ingredients

  • 200g kataifi pastry
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 100g pistachios, chopped
  • 50g powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix kataifi pastry with melted butter and spread in a baking dish.
  3. Bake for 20 minutes until golden and crispy.
  4. In a saucepan, melt dark chocolate over low heat.
  5. In a bowl, whip heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  6. Fold melted chocolate into whipped cream.
  7. Layer kataifi, chocolate cream, and pistachios in serving glasses.
  8. Repeat layers and top with remaining pistachios.
  9. Chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
