Description
Delicious and creamy chocolate pudding served in individual cups.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions
- In a saucepan, mix sugar, cocoa powder, cornstarch, and salt.
- Gradually whisk in milk until smooth.
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and bubbles.
- Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and butter.
- Pour into cups and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Serve chilled.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, use whole milk.
- Add whipped cream on top for garnish.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
