Description

Chocolate Rosewater Macarons are delicate French cookies made with almond flour and filled with a rich chocolate ganache infused with rosewater.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 4 large egg whites
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosewater
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, sift almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
  3. In another bowl, whip egg whites until foamy.
  4. Add granulated sugar gradually while whipping until stiff peaks form.
  5. Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites along with the rosewater.
  6. Pipe small rounds onto a baking sheet.
  7. Let them rest for 30 minutes.
  8. Bake for 15-18 minutes.
  9. For the ganache, heat cream and pour over the chocolate. Stir until smooth.
  10. Let ganache cool, then fill the macarons.
