Description
Chocolate Rosewater Macarons are delicate French cookies made with almond flour and filled with a rich chocolate ganache infused with rosewater.
Ingredients

- 1 cup almond flour
- 1 3/4 cups powdered sugar
- 4 large egg whites
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon rosewater
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- In a bowl, sift almond flour, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder.
- In another bowl, whip egg whites until foamy.
- Add granulated sugar gradually while whipping until stiff peaks form.
- Fold the dry ingredients into the egg whites along with the rosewater.
- Pipe small rounds onto a baking sheet.
- Let them rest for 30 minutes.
- Bake for 15-18 minutes.
- For the ganache, heat cream and pour over the chocolate. Stir until smooth.
- Let ganache cool, then fill the macarons.
Notes
- Ensure egg whites are at room temperature.
- Don’t overmix the batter.
- Store macarons in an airtight container.
