Ingredients

- 6 ounces dark chocolate
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 large eggs, separated
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Grease ramekins with butter.
- Melt chocolate and butter together in a double boiler.
- In a bowl, whisk egg yolks, sugar, and vanilla until pale.
- Fold melted chocolate into the egg mixture.
- In another bowl, beat egg whites and salt until stiff peaks form.
- Carefully fold egg whites into the chocolate mixture.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared ramekins.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until puffed.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
Notes
- Serve immediately for best texture.
- Can be made in advance and baked just before serving.
