- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large bowl, cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until smooth.
- Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until combined.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto ungreased baking sheets.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes. Let cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- For a richer chocolate flavor, add chocolate chips.
