Ingredients

  • 3 cups of water
  • 1 package (6 oz) of cherry jello
  • 1 package (6 oz) of lime jello
  • 1 cup of diced pineapple
  • 1 cup of whipped cream
  • 1 cup of mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Boil 1 cup of water and dissolve the cherry jello in it.
  2. Add 1 cup of cold water to the cherry jello mixture.
  3. Pour the cherry jello into a 9×13 inch dish and refrigerate until set.
  4. In another bowl, dissolve the lime jello in 1 cup of boiling water.
  5. Add 1 cup of cold water to the lime jello mixture.
  6. Once the cherry jello is set, layer the lime jello on top and refrigerate again until set.
  7. Mix diced pineapple, whipped cream, mini marshmallows, and chopped nuts in a bowl.
  8. Spread the mixture over the set lime jello layer.
  9. Chill the dessert for at least 2 hours before serving.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, use fruit juice instead of water for the jello.
  • You can substitute whipped cream with yogurt for a lighter option.
