Description

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. In a pot, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
  2. Remove from heat, then add flour and oil. Stir until combined.
  3. Let the dough cool slightly, then pipe it into hot oil in desired shapes.
  4. Fry until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
  5. Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll churros in the mixture.
  6. For the dip, heat heavy cream in a pot, then add chocolate chips and cayenne pepper. Stir until smooth.
  7. Serve churros with the spicy chocolate dip.
