Description
Delicious churros served with a spicy chocolate dip.
Ingredients

- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/2 cup sugar (for coating)
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
Instructions
- In a pot, combine water, 2 tablespoons sugar, and salt. Bring to a boil.
- Remove from heat, then add flour and oil. Stir until combined.
- Let the dough cool slightly, then pipe it into hot oil in desired shapes.
- Fry until golden brown, then drain on paper towels.
- Mix 1/2 cup sugar and cinnamon in a bowl. Roll churros in the mixture.
- For the dip, heat heavy cream in a pot, then add chocolate chips and cayenne pepper. Stir until smooth.
- Serve churros with the spicy chocolate dip.
Notes
- Ensure oil is hot enough before frying.
- Adjust cayenne pepper to taste for spiciness.
- Store leftover churros in an airtight container.
