Description

Ingredients

  • 2 cups tallow
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
  2. In a small saucepan, melt the tallow over low heat.
  3. Carefully separate the egg yolks from the whites.
  4. Place the yolks in a heatproof dish.
  5. Pour the melted tallow over the yolks until they are fully submerged.
  6. Bake in the oven for about 1 hour until the yolks are firm but still creamy.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tallow.
  8. Once cooled, gently remove the yolks and sprinkle with salt.
