- 6 egg yolks
- 2 cups tallow
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°F (93°C).
- In a small saucepan, melt the tallow over low heat.
- Carefully separate the egg yolks from the whites.
- Place the yolks in a heatproof dish.
- Pour the melted tallow over the yolks until they are fully submerged.
- Bake in the oven for about 1 hour until the yolks are firm but still creamy.
- Remove from the oven and let cool in the tallow.
- Once cooled, gently remove the yolks and sprinkle with salt.
