Description
A delicious and crispy falafel wrap served with tahini sauce.
Ingredients

- 1 cup dried chickpeas
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
- 1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- Salt to taste
- Oil for frying
- 4 pita bread
- 1 cup lettuce, shredded
- 1 tomato, sliced
- 1 cucumber, sliced
- 1/2 cup tahini sauce
Instructions
- Soak chickpeas overnight in water.
- Drain and rinse chickpeas.
- In a food processor, combine chickpeas, onion, garlic, parsley, cilantro, cumin, coriander, baking powder, and salt.
- Pulse until a coarse mixture forms.
- Shape mixture into small balls or patties.
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Fry falafel until golden brown and crispy.
- Warm pita bread in a separate pan.
- Assemble wraps with lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and falafel.
- Drizzle tahini sauce over the top and serve.
Notes
- For a lighter version, bake falafel instead of frying.
- Store leftover falafel in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
