Description

  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, for frying
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 orange, zested
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 green onions, sliced for garnish

Instructions

  1. Marinate the beef in soy sauce for 30 minutes.
  2. Coat the beef slices in cornstarch, then dip in beaten eggs.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Fry the beef in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes.
  5. Remove the beef and drain on paper towels.
  6. In a bowl, mix orange juice, sugar, vinegar, ginger, garlic, orange zest, and red pepper flakes.
  7. In the same pan, pour the sauce and simmer until thickened.
