Description

Cook chicken and pasta in your slow cooker. This meal combines meat with cheese tortellini and spinach.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds chicken breast
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 10 ounces cream of chicken soup
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 19 ounces frozen cheese tortellini
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 0.5 cup parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Place chicken in your slow cooker.
  2. Pour broth and soup over meat.
  3. Add seasonings.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6 hours.
  5. Remove chicken and shred it.
  6. Put chicken back in pot.
  7. Add cream cheese and tortellini.
  8. Cook for 30 minutes.
  9. Mix in spinach and parmesan.
  10. Serve your meal.

Notes

  • Use low sodium broth.
  • Cut cream cheese into cubes to help melting.
  • Add red pepper flakes for spice.
  • Keep leftovers in your fridge for three days.
