Description
Delicious bites of baklava made with dates and chocolate.
Ingredients

- 1 cup dates, pitted
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
- 1 cup phyllo dough, thawed
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate, melted
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Chop the dates and walnuts.
- Mix dates, walnuts, and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Brush a baking dish with melted butter.
- Layer phyllo dough in the dish, brushing each layer with butter.
- Spread the date mixture evenly over the phyllo.
- Top with more layers of phyllo, brushing with butter.
- Cut into bite-sized pieces.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden.
- Drizzle with melted chocolate and honey.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Best enjoyed fresh.
- Can substitute nuts as per preference.
