Crispy and cheesy fried mac and cheese balls.
Ingredients

- 2 cups cooked macaroni
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese.
- Form mixture into small balls.
- Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each ball in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
- Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
- Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Remove and drain on paper towels.
Notes
- Use any cheese you prefer.
- Serve with marinara sauce or ranch dressing.
- Make ahead and freeze before frying.
