Description

Crispy and cheesy fried mac and cheese balls.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked macaroni
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix cooked macaroni, cheddar cheese, and cream cheese.
  2. Form mixture into small balls.
  3. Set up a breading station with flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
  4. Dredge each ball in flour, dip in eggs, and coat with breadcrumbs.
  5. Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
  6. Fry the balls until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  7. Remove and drain on paper towels.
