- 8 ounces linguine pasta
- 1 pound large shrimp peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 cup dry white wine
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Boil a large pot of salted water.
- Cook your pasta until it is tender.
- Drain the pasta and set it aside.
- Melt the butter and olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add your garlic and red pepper flakes to the pan.
- Cook the garlic for one minute until you smell it.
- Add the shrimp and cook until they turn pink.
- Pour the wine and lemon juice into the skillet.
- Simmer the liquid for two minutes.
- Stir your cooked pasta into the shrimp mixture.
- Season the dish with salt and pepper.
- Top with fresh parsley before you serve.

- Substitute chicken broth for wine if you want.
