- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons gochujang
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- In a bowl, mix butter, gochujang, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
- Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
- Rub the gochujang mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin.
- Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
- Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
- Let the chicken rest for 10 minutes before carving.
- Garnish with fresh herbs if desired.

- For extra flavor, marinate the chicken for a few hours or overnight.
