Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons gochujang
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix butter, gochujang, soy sauce, honey, garlic, and ginger.
  3. Season the chicken with salt and pepper.
  4. Rub the gochujang mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin.
  5. Place the chicken in a roasting pan.
  6. Roast for 1 hour and 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
