Description
Gooey Nutella Lava Cookies are rich, chocolatey treats with a molten Nutella center.
Ingredients

- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar.
- Add egg and vanilla to the butter mixture; mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
- Chill the dough in the fridge for 30 minutes.
- Take a tablespoon of dough, flatten it, and place a teaspoon of Nutella in the center.
- Wrap the dough around the Nutella and roll into a ball.
- Place the cookies on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes.
- Let them cool slightly before serving.
Notes
- Store cookies in an airtight container.
- Use chilled Nutella for easier handling.
- Adjust baking time for softer or firmer cookies.
