Description
A delicious Greek dish featuring marinated chicken and grilled halloumi.
Ingredients

- 500g chicken breast, cubed
- 200g halloumi cheese, sliced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Pita bread for serving
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Add chicken cubes to the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
- Grill chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
- Add halloumi slices to the grill for the last 2-3 minutes.
- Remove from grill and serve with pita bread and parsley.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning as per your taste.
- Soak wooden skewers in water before using to prevent burning.
