Description

A delicious Greek dish featuring marinated chicken and grilled halloumi.


Ingredients

  • 500g chicken breast, cubed
  • 200g halloumi cheese, sliced
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Pita bread for serving
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  2. Add chicken cubes to the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Thread marinated chicken onto skewers.
  5. Grill chicken skewers for 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally.
  6. Add halloumi slices to the grill for the last 2-3 minutes.
  7. Remove from grill and serve with pita bread and parsley.
