Description
Delicious Halal Chicken Shawarma served with rice and fresh vegetables.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs boneless chicken thighs
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons ground cumin
- 2 tablespoons ground paprika
- 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
- 1 tablespoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup chopped lettuce
- 1 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1/2 cup tahini sauce
Instructions
- Marinate chicken with garlic, spices, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and pepper for at least 1 hour.
- Preheat grill or skillet over medium heat.
- Cook chicken for 6-8 minutes on each side until fully cooked.
- Let chicken rest for 5 minutes, then slice thinly.
- Serve chicken over rice with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and tahini sauce.
Notes
- Adjust spices according to taste.
- Serve with pita bread for a complete meal.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
