Description
Halal Mutton Karahi is a traditional Pakistani dish made with tender mutton cooked in a spicy tomato-based gravy.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs mutton, cut into pieces
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2 onions, finely sliced
- 4 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander, for garnish
- Lemon wedges, for serving
Instructions
- Heat oil in a karahi or deep pan.
- Add onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add mutton and cook until browned.
- Add tomatoes, green chilies, and spices. Mix well.
- Add water to cover the mutton. Cook until tender.
- Once cooked, increase heat to reduce the gravy.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot with lemon wedges.

- Serve with naan or rice.
