A flavorful and spicy Halal Prawn Curry.
Ingredients

- 500g prawns, cleaned
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, minced
- 2 green chilies, slit
- 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
- 1 tablespoon red chili powder
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder
- 1 cup coconut milk
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add chopped onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Add garlic, ginger, and green chilies. Cook for 2 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Stir in turmeric, red chili, and coriander powder. Cook for 1 minute.
- Add prawns and mix well. Cook until they turn pink.
- Pour in coconut milk and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add salt to taste.
- Garnish with fresh coriander.
- Serve hot with rice or bread.
Notes
- Adjust chili powder for desired spice level.
- Use fresh prawns for best flavor.
- Can substitute coconut milk with yogurt for a different taste.
