Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup milk
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 1 cup whipped cream
- Fresh raspberries for decoration
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Grease and flour a heart-shaped cake pan.
- In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder.
- Add butter, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let the cake cool completely.
- Slice the cake in half horizontally.
- Spread raspberry jam on the bottom layer.
- Place the top layer back on and cover the entire cake with whipped cream.
- Decorate with fresh raspberries.
