- 250g halloumi cheese
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Cut halloumi into fry-shaped pieces.
- In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
- Dredge each halloumi piece in the flour mixture.
- Coat the pieces in breadcrumbs.
- Place them on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
- Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a pan, heat honey and garlic until bubbly.
- Toss baked halloumi fries in the honey garlic sauce.
- Serve immediately.
Notes
- Adjust honey for desired sweetness.
- Serve with a dipping sauce if preferred.
- Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 2 days.
