Ingredients

  • 250g halloumi cheese
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Cut halloumi into fry-shaped pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  4. Dredge each halloumi piece in the flour mixture.
  5. Coat the pieces in breadcrumbs.
  6. Place them on a baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. In a pan, heat honey and garlic until bubbly.
  9. Toss baked halloumi fries in the honey garlic sauce.
  10. Serve immediately.
