Jam thumbprint cookies are soft, buttery cookies filled with your favorite jam.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup fruit jam of choice
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- Combine flour, baking powder, and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Shape dough into 1-inch balls and place on greased baking sheets.
- Make an indentation in each ball with your thumb.
- Fill each indentation with jam.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Let cool on wire racks.
