Description

Japanese Chicken Katsu Sando on fluffy milk bread.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • Oil for frying
  • 4 slices of fluffy milk bread
  • Tonakatsu sauce
  • Cabbage (shredded)

Instructions

  1. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  2. Dredge chicken in flour, dip in beaten egg, and coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Fry the chicken until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  6. Slice the chicken and place it on a slice of milk bread.
  7. Add tonkatsu sauce and shredded cabbage.
  8. Top with another slice of bread.
  9. Cut in half and serve.
