Description

Japchae is a Korean dish made with sweet potato glass noodles, vegetables, and beef.


Ingredients

  • 200g sweet potato glass noodles
  • 150g beef, sliced
  • 1 carrot, julienned
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Soak the sweet potato noodles in warm water for 30 minutes.
  2. Boil the noodles for 5 minutes until soft, then drain and rinse.
  3. In a pan, heat sesame oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add beef and cook until browned.
  5. Add carrots, bell pepper, and onion, and stir-fry until tender.
  6. Add spinach and cook until wilted.
  7. Mix in the noodles, soy sauce, and sugar.
  8. Toss everything to combine well.
  9. Garnish with sesame seeds before serving.
