Description
Kimchi Jjigae with Tuna is a flavorful Korean stew made with fermented kimchi and tender pieces of tuna. This dish is hearty and perfect for a comforting meal.
Ingredients

- 2 cups kimchi
- 1 can tuna, drained
- 1 onion, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1 tablespoon gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes)
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Tofu, cubed (optional)
Instructions
- In a pot, combine kimchi, onion, and water.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Add gochugaru and soy sauce, stirring well.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add tuna and tofu, cooking for another 5 minutes.
- Stir in green onions and sesame oil before serving.
Notes
- Adjust spice level by adding more or less gochugaru.
- Serve with rice for a complete meal.
- This stew can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
