Description

Delicious Knafeh Chocolate Crunch Bars with a unique twist.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup shredded phyllo dough
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup crushed nuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix melted butter with shredded phyllo dough in a bowl.
  3. Press half of the mixture into the bottom of a baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, mix ricotta cheese, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  5. Spread the ricotta mixture over the phyllo base.
  6. Sprinkle chocolate chips and crushed nuts on top.
  7. Cover with the remaining phyllo mixture.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Let it cool before cutting into bars.
