Description
A delicious Korean dish featuring marinated beef served over rice.
Ingredients

- 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 cup sliced green onions
- 1/2 cup sliced carrots
- 1/2 cup sliced bell peppers
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and black pepper.
- Add beef to the marinade and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat vegetable oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
- Add marinated beef to the pan and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add carrots and bell peppers to the pan and stir-fry for another 3 minutes.
- Serve beef mixture over cooked rice and garnish with green onions.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less brown sugar.
- Serve with kimchi for an authentic experience.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
