Description
Lamb Shank Nihari is a spicy stew made from tender lamb shanks slow-cooked in a rich, flavorful broth.

- 2 lamb shanks
- 2 tablespoons oil
- 1 large onion, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons Nihari spice mix
- 4 cups water
- Salt to taste
- Chopped cilantro for garnish
Instructions
- Heat oil in a pot over medium heat.
- Add sliced onions and sauté until golden brown.
- Stir in garlic and ginger; cook for 2 minutes.
- Add lamb shanks and brown on all sides.
- Mix in Nihari spice mix and salt.
- Pour in water and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 2-3 hours until lamb is tender.
- Garnish with chopped cilantro before serving.
