Ingredients

  • 1 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons dried lavender
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • Lavender sprigs for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water with sugar and lavender.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat and let it steep for 15 minutes.
  4. Strain the mixture into a pitcher, discarding the lavender.
  5. Add fresh lemon juice and remaining water to the pitcher.
  6. Stir well and chill in the refrigerator.
  7. Serve over ice and garnish with lemon slices and lavender sprigs.
