Delicious and charming heart-shaped cookies filled with strawberry jam.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup strawberry jam
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, almond flour, and salt.
- In another bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture.
- Gradually add the flour mixture to the wet ingredients until combined.
- Chill the dough for 30 minutes.
- Roll out the dough and cut into heart shapes.
- Place half of the cookies on a baking sheet.
- Add a spoonful of strawberry jam to the center of each cookie.
- Top with the remaining cookies and press gently.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- Allow to cool before serving.
Notes
- Use a different jam for variation.
- Dust with powdered sugar for presentation.
- Store in an airtight container.
