Description

Delicious Neapolitan cookie bars with chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry layers.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup strawberry jam
  • 1/4 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease and line a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. In a large bowl, cream butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
  4. Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
  5. In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
  6. Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
  7. Divide dough into three portions.
  8. Mix cocoa powder into one portion.
  9. Spread chocolate dough in the pan.
  10. Spread vanilla dough over chocolate layer.
  11. Spread strawberry jam over vanilla layer.
  12. Top with remaining vanilla dough.
  13. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
  14. Cool before cutting into bars.
