Delicious Neapolitan Sugar Cookie Bars with layered chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry flavors.

- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup strawberry puree
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream together the butter and sugar.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract, mix well.
- In another bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the wet mixture.
- Divide the dough into three equal parts.
- Mix cocoa powder into one part for the chocolate layer.
- Mix strawberry puree into another part for the strawberry layer.
- Leave the third part plain for the vanilla layer.
- Layer the chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry dough in a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
- Let cool before cutting into bars and dusting with powdered sugar.
Notes
- Store in an airtight container.
- Best served chilled.
- Can substitute strawberry puree with jam.
