You can bake this soft Italian bread topped with salty olives and fresh rosemary.
Ingredients

- 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
- 1.33 cups warm water
- 2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 cup sliced olives
- 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary
Instructions
- Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water in a bowl.
- Wait 5 minutes until the mixture foams.
- Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl.
- Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it.
- Let the dough rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
- Press the dough into a greased baking pan.
- Create deep dimples in the dough using your fingers.
- Push the olives and rosemary into the dimples.
- Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
Notes
- Use water between 105 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Drizzle extra olive oil over the top before baking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2 days.
