Ingredients

Scale
  • 3.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1.33 cups warm water
  • 2.25 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup sliced olives
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. Mix yeast, sugar, and warm water in a bowl.
  2. Wait 5 minutes until the mixture foams.
  3. Add flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl.
  4. Knead the dough on a floured surface for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it.
  6. Let the dough rise in a warm spot for 1 hour.
  7. Press the dough into a greased baking pan.
  8. Create deep dimples in the dough using your fingers.
  9. Push the olives and rosemary into the dimples.
  10. Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.

Notes

  • Use water between 105 and 110 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Drizzle extra olive oil over the top before baking.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2 days.
