Description
Palestinian Musakhan is a traditional dish featuring sumac chicken served on taboon bread.
Ingredients

- 4 chicken thighs
- 2 tablespoons sumac
- 2 onions, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 4 pieces of taboon bread
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F).
- In a pan, heat olive oil and sauté the onions until soft.
- Add the chicken thighs, sumac, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for 5 minutes on each side until browned.
- Place the chicken and onions on a baking tray and bake for 30 minutes.
- Warm the taboon bread in the oven for the last 5 minutes of baking.
- Serve the chicken and onions on the taboon bread.
Notes
- Use fresh sumac for better flavor.
- Adjust seasoning according to your taste.
