Description
A traditional Persian dish made with marinated chicken and saffron.
Ingredients

- 2 lbs chicken thighs, boneless
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1 large onion, grated
- 1/4 tsp saffron threads
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp paprika
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, onion, saffron, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add chicken and coat well. Marinate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Skewer chicken pieces onto skewers.
- Grill for 15-20 minutes, turning occasionally, until cooked through.
- Serve with rice or flatbread.
Notes
- For best flavor, marinate overnight.
- Serve with grilled vegetables.
- Adjust spices to taste.
