Ingredients

- 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 large eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup milk
- Pink food coloring
- Chocolate kisses
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a bowl, cream butter and sugar together.
- Add eggs and vanilla, mix well.
- In a separate bowl, combine flour, baking powder, and salt.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet mixture.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto a baking sheet.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden.
- Let cookies cool on a wire rack.
- In a bowl, mix powdered sugar, milk, and food coloring to make frosting.
- Frost cooled cookies and place a chocolate kiss on top.
