Description

A delicious dessert combining the flavors of pistachio, kunafa, and chocolate mousse.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup pistachios, crushed
  • 200g kunafa pastry
  • 100g unsalted butter, melted
  • 300ml heavy cream
  • 200g dark chocolate, melted
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Mix melted butter with crushed kunafa and press into the bottom of a baking dish.
  3. Bake the kunafa for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  4. In a bowl, whip heavy cream with sugar, vanilla, and salt until soft peaks form.
  5. Fold in melted chocolate until well combined.
  6. Layer the chocolate mousse over the baked kunafa.
  7. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
  8. Top with crushed pistachios before serving.
