Description
These appetizers use tater tots as a crust for mini cheeseburgers.

- 1 bag frozen tater tots
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 24 pickle slices
- 2 tablespoons ketchup
- 1 tablespoon mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Grease a mini muffin tin.
- Place three tater tots in each muffin cup.
- Bake the tots for 10 minutes.
- Press the warm tots down with a spoon to form a cup shape.
- Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
- Drain the fat from the pan.
- Season the beef with salt and pepper.
- Spoon the beef into the tater tot cups.
- Top each cup with shredded cheese.
- Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese melts.
- Garnish each bite with a pickle slice and condiments.
Notes
- A non-stick muffin tin helps with removal.
- Cool the bites for five minutes before you serve them.
- Try pepper jack cheese for a spicy flavor.
