Description

These appetizers use tater tots as a crust for mini cheeseburgers.


Ingredients

  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 24 pickle slices
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Place three tater tots in each muffin cup.
  4. Bake the tots for 10 minutes.
  5. Press the warm tots down with a spoon to form a cup shape.
  6. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Drain the fat from the pan.
  8. Season the beef with salt and pepper.
  9. Spoon the beef into the tater tot cups.
  10. Top each cup with shredded cheese.
  11. Bake for 15 minutes until the cheese melts.
  12. Garnish each bite with a pickle slice and condiments.
