Ingredients

- 1 sheet puff pastry
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a floured surface.
- Cut the pastry into heart shapes.
- Mix strawberries with sugar in a bowl.
- Place strawberries in the center of half the heart shapes.
- Top with remaining heart shapes and seal the edges.
- Brush the tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
